Ladies and Gentlemen in 1942 ...
The ladies started their own league in the New Westminster Lawn Bowling Club. It ran as a separate entity from the Men's Club and only amalgamate in 1988.
1992
As you can never have too much, "a new storage sheds was completed in April". Club fee rose from $75 to $85 PA.
The estate of Seymour Purdy, a prominent member of the clubs Booster Group (formed in 1979 with 10 members) donated $2000. In recognition the Booster Tournament became known as the Seymour Purdy Booster Tournament.
1946
Two sprinklers were purchased at $12. each, the clubhouse stove was replaced at a cost of $15.
